Especially if you are using an incubator like a hovabator. Infertile eggs turn ugly within a day or two of being laid. Infertile eggs may show a blue green mold. They also perspire. You can see small droplets of moisture as if the egg were leaking through the pores of the shell. If the eggs are more than a couple of days old and all that is wrong is some dimpling or collapsing of the egg, they are still good. [ Hide Replies ]
