My snakes never stay in the shed phase for more than a day or two, so I have never had that problem. I would imagine that if it takes longer than normal, the nostrils would get clogged. Open mouth breathing would be a logical solution to that. You could also put in a humid hide. A shoe box at the end with the heat pad. Cut a hole in the shoe box for the snake to get in and out and then put moist substrate (I use vermiculite). Being on the heat pad will cause condensation and help the snake shed | ||
