In my opinion that would not work. I really want you to be able to keep your two boas like you do. I'm not to sure about the summer temps. I think if the ambient(sp) temp. was 100 that would be too high. But I'm almost positive that if it got down to 50 or 60 degrees this would cause major problems if not death. A RI would almost be inevitable. I know that a boa can get a RI even if the ambient temp. is perfect and there is a breeze that enters the cage. Maybe if you made a cage with no opening on the top and had two heat lamps. A cooler one to keep the ambient temp up,and a hotter one for a basking spot. But you really can't let the temp drop down to 50 degrees even if your snake can curl up on a hot spot. Keep in mind that I am no expert and these are just my opinions. I really hope you can figure something out, it sounds like you are really trying to make this work.
