It hasn't yet, the 3" flexwatt is 6watts per foot and max temps are 110-120 degrees, definitely not plastic melting temps. As for the 11" flexwatt that's 20watts per foot, I'm not sure on the max temps, but I know it hasn't melted anything over here.. I can't make any guarantees, but I hope this helps.
