Great pictures. I love the pattern and color of copperheads (and many other venomous snakes). I certainly feel backyard herping is just as exciting as going to some exotic country to herp. Course up here in Canada, we don't have anywhere near a variety of snakes as found in most states. We do have a large amount of amphibians
One goal I have to do either this summer or next, is to go herping for our only provincial native venomous snake, the Eastern Massasauga Rattler. (native to southwestern Ontario). just have to track down somebody who is experienced with venomous snakes and has a good ideal where to find them, soI am not just wondering around in the woods looking to get lost LOL. ----- PHLdyPayne
