I bought my ball python about 1 month ago. When i first got him he would always curl up into a ball anytime i tried to handle him. Also, anytime i was in the room he would stay inside his hide box. Recently though, when i pick him up he doenst curl into the ball at all. He just stays normal. Then when i hold him he just moves around and explores, but never a ball. Also, now he comes out of the hide box whether i am in the room or not. I am not an expert but does anyone else think that maybe he is used to me already and trusts me enough to know he doenst have to curl into a ball when i pick him up? Ive also noticed that if someone else is in the room when i handle him he curls into the ball at first, but never when its just me. The reason i am asking is because i wasnt sure if it was too early for him to have gained the trust already. Thanks for any responses.
