>>I heard Jimmmy say the same thing. What exactly is a "kinked baby"? Is it a snake that is deformed and can not stretch out straight? I've just never heard this term used before.

They will get kinks in their spine. Some are pretty bad and some actually disapear as the snake grows.
I have a butter that I adopted that can not stretch out completely straight. She has a couple of pretty bad kinks.
I received her and three everglades rat snakes from a friend in Florida. They were non feeders and two of the everglades along withe butter had bad kinks.
One of the everglades died. The other kinked everglades is doing well and his kinks aren't very noticeable now. The other everglades, the one without kinks is probably around five feet long, now. These two everglades are living with Zach (Snake Master) now.
It took me several months to get her eating but she eats well, now, and is actually a pretty girl but small for her age. She is an '04 and only about 28 to 30 inches.
