Depends on your setup.
If you keep a constant temperature, shoot for the 82-84 F range. From the studies I've read, that is either optimum or just off optimum.
If you use a day/night temperature cycle, then 88-90 F day, dropping to the low/middle 70s F at night works fine. This has produced up to 100% hatch rate with no kinking, for me.
I've had eggs hit 92 F for a few hours and hatch fine, so I am sceptical of the high temperatures produces kinking theory.
