If he doesn't seem to mind then why not.. I have dragons that totally flip out when they see their own shadow while outside, and I have others that lay out and sun themselves with no worries at all. Of course I'd never think of taking the scared ones out for a cruise, but the relaxed laid back dragons may not have a problem with it. I have taken dragons to the vet, and carried them on my shoulder till I got there without any trouble, but you got to know the dragon... I would never think of doing that with foster as he's a huge 24 inch 820 gram scaredy cat with strong jaws and big musclular head that could do a job on my finger if he so chose too LOL. I sware the first time I took foster out it was like night and day.. He flipped out ran from my hands with his beard out mouth open. He sprinted accross the yard, and when I went to pick him up he'd lung at me, and run again. This is a dragon that is usaully as sweet as beardies come, so I was really suprised by his actions that day.. Now no matter what I always bring them out in screen cages so they can't run on me. It was really scary and I thought I would loose him. You know your dragon better then any of us do. If he seems to enjoy going outside in the yard a drive on your shoulder may not be so stressful for him..
