Feeding

I have a snow corn that is roughly 6 months old and feeds regularly on f/t hoppers. I was curious if I could feed it a live one instead next time. I know that this could be dangerous to the snake if it gets bit, but I just wanted to see if it had any of its natural behavior left. Would it be worth the risk to see or should i just stay with f/t?
