My old boss let me know how to help a snake shed pretty good. I use a normal cooler. My retic is only a few feet long so I fill the cooler up about 3 inches with luke warm water and let the snake soak about an hour or so. (The longer it has been since he was supposed to shed let him soak longer) After the hour the skin should be soft and wet enough to just slide right off. When you shed the snake make sure you always start at the mouth and slide back just like they normaly would. Goodluck. [ Hide Replies ]
