1) A hypo amel is called a "sunglow" or "hybino." Amel and hypo are different genes, although I don't know of anybody marketing "hybino" corns, probably because you can't tell the difference between one of those and a amel (at least that's how it is with Hondurans). In "corn snake terms" a sunglow is an amel without any white, which isn't always amel X hypo.



2) Probe depths are measured in subcaudal scales, not millimeters. An in-depth corn snake book or internet search will tell what the number of subcaudal scales male and females should probe at.



3) The snake in the photo looks like a ghost. Ghost is anery X hypo.
