Posted by: phiber_optikx at Wed Apr 19 00:48:57 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by phiber_optikx ] it's not lampropeltis. It's a black ratsnake (Elaphe obsoleta obsoleta) It would be nice of Onyx turned out that big though! I tried to probe today but am REALLY unsure of the results. It probed around (probably UNDER) 1/4" I am unsure if I just wasn't hitting it right or what but that seems a short distance even for a 4' female. Also there was no "dead stop" it seemed a little bouncy. I know that is not a deciding factor but it does throw me off a bit. [ Hide Replies ]
