what size rat is closest to the size of an adult mouse?

and this is a wierd question, has anyone ever tried freeze drying mice? it would be better than frozen (cheaper shipping and would longer) when you want to feed the snake you soak th mouse in hot water and feed it to the snake.

A rat pup is just a bit bigger than an adult regular mouse (not jumbo mouse) a rat fuzzy is bit smaller .
