Don't spray water on the eggs. If you need to add water to the vermiculite pour it sparingly around the edges, not near the eggs. If you are using the hovabator with a fan it may keep drying the eggs and vermiculite out if the are not in a container inside the hovabator. Hope this helps. Jon
