hey lele and others drawn to words of one who might have made a bad mistake,

In regards to the cricket food and the diet, i ordered some phoenix worms and some gut load stuff from wormman.com I was planning on adding a little of the cricket dust to the mixture to add more calcium and vitamins.

now, in regards to "CRAP CRAP WHOOPS CRAP"... i think i might have made a slight error. I was in the process of doing a cage cleaning and had to move charlie elseware. Usually i have a spot that he sits while i clean, but today he seemed irritated by that spot so i moved him to another house plant in the sun for just a minute while i cleaned. I had someone watching him. I went over to the plant to retrieve him and return him to his cage when i saw him suddenly turn and try to eat something. I didnt know what it was, and i might have scared him away from eating whateevr it was. When he was safly locked back in his cage, i cheacked to see what he might have been eating... perlite. the house plant had perlite at the bottom. It was older perlite that was in small moist pieces, but it was still perlite. He he got any, it had to have been only one small piece.

Is there something i should do or should i just wait to see if he passes it?

thanks,

Jeff

by the way, i put him in direct, unfiltered sunlight for the first time today. AMAZING COLORS. when i do it again i will find a camera.
