I would imagine that some people want to have more to sell. The market where I am from is not saturated with corns like other places. I wanted to second clutch my Amel corn because I could not get a bloodred in time for her first clutch. The snake has some strange attributes that Kathy (not one of her snakes, but she commented on pics of it) thinks she may be an amel blood. So, she told me to breed her to a bloodred to be sure. I had to buy an adult male and it was not shipped to me in time. Sure, I could wait until next year, but as long as my snake is healthy enough for a second clutch, I don't want to.
I probably wont double clutch next year. And if the babies that I get this year don't sell, I won't breed at all. I am not going to keep breeding snakes that i can not find homes for. ----- **********Misty**********
