Thank you. Grey Rats do like to climb, and will take advantage of a setup that allows them to do so. The obsoleta rats, (grey rat, black rat, etc) are some of the more arboreal rats in North America then compared to, cornsnakes, emory rats,
Trans Peco rats, etc.
Some grey rats can be a bit defensive as babies, and some can be very calm. Mine has been very laid back from day one. He pretty much eats right out of my hand.
