Never had a problem with my guys getting one to go down backwards. Happens a few times to most of them. Now what scared me is when the green tree python grabs one by the middle. He won't let his food go and will swallow it sideways. Funny, but worrisome. He uses his coils to shove it down his face then down his neck. Only happened twice and I try not to end up with him eating that way.
