Glad to here you got him to the Vet. That sounds right on for a regimen of meds. I am not a Vet but deal with Meds on emergency basis daily in my In Home Emergency Pet Care. If he is not too far into the illness he should pull thru but it will take some time and strick following of the Vets orders. Another important thing is eating. He needs to eat so if he should completely go off food and stay off contact the Vet. There is appetite stimulants that may help. Of course keeping his eyes open and his nose clear of any fluids so he can smell will do wonders. Good Luck with him, and keep us posted. Did he give a diagnosis and a prognosis?
