Though I haven't had a leucistic Texas rat for long, he hasn't biten me yet or even tried. However, he does bite if picked up by somebody who is nervous. If picked up by somebody calm and determined (basically reach in and pick him up, no hesitating etc) he is quite calm. THough he does squirm a bit in hand.
