I had three gravid snakes this year (2 corns, 1 king). All three females started wondering the cage after their post mating (pre-lay) shed. They would go in and out of hides, nest boxes. Basically what they are doing is trying to find the best place to lay. It is better to have a nest box in the cage after shed, just to be safe, rather than sorry. | ||
