I'm not sure what technique(s) you have tried so far, but I put warm water in a rubbermaid tub about 3/4 the thickness of the snake deep.

let them soak for 20min-hour depending on how bad the shed.



take him/her out and peel off the skin by hand.

get a piece started and peel in the head to tail direction.



wetting your finger and rubbing the edge of the retained skin can help you get a starting point.



peel the skin slowly and it usually comes off in good size pieces.



most of the snakes I've had to peel actually seem to appreciate it, I think the old skin might itch or bother them.



Also please don't over spray your tank and keep it moist.

it will wind up causing you more problems than a bad shed.



there are other safe ways to keep up the humidity in a glass tank.

If you need some help with this let me know how you have the tank set up. ie heat, substrate, waterbowl size placement.
