very jumpy baby beardie

I recently got a baby beardie and it is VERY jumpy.If I reach in the cage it runs and runs and if I corner it,it opens its mouth and tries to bite.I havent had this problem in the past.It is very healthy too.Is this normal and will it stop,do I just need to keep holding it,or whats the deal?thanks guys.
