I have been using UPS to ship my dragons and I haven't had to jump through hoops. Their main requiremnet is that you state on the package that it is a LIVE harmless lizard. DHL and FED-X don't generally except reptiles with out speacial permission which some locals not all, will deny you.
I ship overnight with a 10:30am to noon delivery time and a signature is required uppon arrival. Since the dragon will not arrive any sooner even if you drop off earlier in the day I wait till the last pick up (around 6:30pm) to drop off the dragon. I get there about 6pm. It minimises the the stress the dragon will go through from being in the box. Only feed your reptile/dragon in the early morning hours the day it will be shipped. You do not want to ship an animal with a belly full of food it won't be able to digest in route. Yor asking for digestive upsets if you do. Follow the packing instructions that were on the web site already mentioned and you should be ready to go.
