This message is addressed to you just because you live close. Anyone in Kansas, Oklahoma, or Missouri can answer. My new wc black rat is blue. Based on the weather and time of year would you say this is a post brumation shed or a pre lay shed? I do not think she is gravid but would like to have a nest box in there just in case. Opinions welcome. Thanks! Also, how long after the pre lay shed do they usually lay?
