Nathan posted a link to a web site a few threads above that has good info on the traits.
Basically leucistics are recessive hypomelanistic dragons, and both Leucistic, and hypomelanistic dragons have clear nails. What we call Leucistic in bearded dragons is not a true Leucistic animal, but rather a excessively white recessive hypomelanistic dragon. I believe nothing has been found to date to differentiate the two. If you breed a Luecistic with a Hypo clear nail all offspring will have clear nails and be hypomelanistic dragons, not double hets.
My Candy was from a red-orange x Dragons Den snow breeding. The dragons den snow did not have clear nails, but carried the gene.. I'm thinking if you crossed a dragons den snow with a hypomelanistic dragon (hypo pastel) these offspring hets would then create a excessively white hypomelanistic dragon. -----
