thats totally up to you really. some younger people do very well raising reptiles if they are interested enough. you dont want to give it to a kid or someone who will lose interested in it in a few months. adults on the other hand may be better or could be worse. adults usually have more to do from work to college or whatever it may be and may not have the time to take care of a reptile at times. it all depeneds really. i would just put some adds up in the newspaper or in petstores and see what you get. always ask people who are interested questions of how to take care of the animal. hope this helps
