I know how you feel. I find myself thinking the same thing. I wish I knew if it was because I'm jealous of his "red" boa or....Maybe I just don't want to believe what my eyes are seeing.



I wish he would post some mega close ups of his boa. I'd like to get a real up close and personal view of those colors.



I'm looking at the picture. I can see that the boa has amazing color, but something isn't quite right. I can't put my finger on it. Some close up shots of him would help a lot.



BTW one of the things I've noticed is that the color is more "intense" "in between" the scales rather than on the acutal scales them selves. Just look at the head. It's got red scales and a "darker" red outline around them........



Actually I'm probably just jealous. Maybe that snake really is that color. I just keep remembering little "Neon". I'm sure most of you don't even know who that is/was.



Neon was a little "NEON GREEN" kingsnake(he was actually yellow and brown banded). His owner posted many pictures of him. Nobody believed he was really that color. This guy had purchased him as a green kingsnake. There was a HUGE fuss made about Neon's color. Then Neon shed. His beautiful green color went away with his shed. Neon had been dyed to look green.



BTW I'm not saying that I think that boa is dyed. It's just the bright "almost neon" colors made me think of that little green kingsnake.
