You should encourage it out with food and snag it!!! A full body shot would be better. I had a garter snake escape once. It crawled in a crack next to my sliding glass door and died. I guess since it could not back up, it had no where to go. I did not find it until it started to stink. Had to pull part of the wall apart to get it all out, because it was starting to decompose. My brother got the pleasure of that job, as I was out of town!! lol.

Would hate to have your snake friend die in the wall
