Posted by: Chameleon996 at Tue Apr 25 16:29:09 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Chameleon996 ] I am thinking a little far ahead but I figure better safe than sorry. I have a clutch due to hatch May 30th - June something. My last clutch hatched almost a month later than I was expecting. Either my calculations were wrong or the info I have on hatch time is wrong. They were layed on April 4th and I am going on vaca the second week of July. According to my calculations and what happened last time they should hatch sometime around when I will be gone. My question is this, If they hatch while I am gone how long can they stay in the incubation container (sterilite shoe containers with no ventilation holes) before they are in danger? I can have someone check on them when they come to my house to feed my zoo but just incase, I thought I might actually take them to a friends house so they can be checked on a daily basis.
