There is a difference between the Exo Terra Repti-glo 8.0 and the Zoo Med Repti-sun 10.0 UVB bulbs. The 10.0 does put out more UVB rays than the 8.0. Other than that and the slight difference in price, there isn't anything. Pretty much your preference, to go for the little extra UVB light and the extra cost or stick with the 8.0 you are currently using. However even with Exo-Terra, I did notice a remarkable difference when I switched from their 5.0 to their 8.0 in my bearded dragon. Her colors seemed more intense under the light and she seemed happier for the extra 3.0 bits of UVB. Not sure if there would be as much difference between teh 8 and 10 rated bulbs, only way to know is to try it and see if your dragon shows any difference. [ Hide Replies ]
