That is a very interesting theory. I don't know how plausible it is but at this point in time, I think anything is plausible! I don't think your theory sounds all that far fetched though.



Something I want to mention - we have had sperm retention in Corn Snakes in the past. In these cases, the babies produced from the retained sperm did not appear any different from previous babies. However, with Corn Snakes, we are talking about an egg-layer and who knows if it might work differently in livebearing boas...?



Either way, the paternity test results should tell us if your theory is correct or not! I can't wait to find out!!
