If possible, try to get your hands on a copy of Reptiles Magazines' November 1996 issue (The Boa Constrictor Issue). It has alot of great info on boas in general, as well as a nice section devoted to just Argentine boas.
I have had two BCO's and they were both great boas. The male was very aggressive, but the female was a little doll. Her growth rate was like nothing I have ever seen before.
