Well maybe not the wildest but most surprising experience while field herping was when....
I could have sworn I saw a snake slide under a rock so I immediately flipped it not taking the time to pay attention. So I am all ready to grab this snake before it gets away. Well to my surprise instead of a snake under the rock I find a very big angry tarantula that lunged forward and bit me on the fingernail (lucky me!) That gave me cold chills for a week! Not a big fan of spiders (sorry raisnok ) So now I am much more carefull when flipping. Luckilly there wasn't a copperhead under that rock! ----- 0.1 Snow Corn "Hope"
