Here's 3 possibilities...

1. Maybe he has a very strong breeding urge. Is there a female near enough that maybe he can smell her?



2. Is there any deep noises or vibrations that may be affecting him that maybe you haven't noticed?



3. This one actually happened to me. Last year I was away from my boas for a little over a month. I still changed their water

and personally fed them, but I wasn't handling them or actually

physically near them most of the time. Well my female Guyanan

changed during that time. She became huffy and though she never

actually bit me or struck at me, her disposition completly

changed. I ended up selling her and the male because I didn't

want to deal with her attitude anymore...
