i'm bored and emily is starting to go opaque and i was excited... and bored. my ancient corn snake (gertrude) i got her when i was in middle school sometime and she was an adult back then and at the least 13 years old... has slowed down eatting BIG TIME so i'm worried she is dying. she used to eat everytime i threw a mouse in there now all she does is kills it and goes on her lil way. she was definately a learning experience though!!! once she got a live mouse and she befriended it... and it would sleep with her and ride on her back. it was really cute...but when the lil mouse died she was so upset....she just lay right by the lil body and she even buried it under the bedding.... i had never seen anything like that, but my husband was there to witness it too... how bizarre? since then i have seen similar stories...but wonder if they will end the same?? i'll never forget how upset she looked when we took the dead mouse of of the cage she looked around for days looking for her friend. oh well, just thought i'd share!!! hope everyone is doing well!!!
