Answer come down to each snake and the odds of "nervousness"
I've seen kings calmer than any corn, but that is not the rule.
If you had 100 of each.
More corns would be calmer and "nicer temperment"
and less kings would be calmer and "nicer temperment"
If the king is at least a year old I think you can get a pretty good idea on how it will be later in life. If someone take him out of a cage, and he musks and is all over, he may improve but usually only so much. But that applies to corn too.
Bottom line be picky in what you want. Handle the snake, in a natural warm room lol. If the snake is calm, good chases are he will stay that way.
I had a nasty ball python, you could not get near him. So this rule applies to most things.
