Oh no not another WIR with a spider next week LOL God I hate spiders. I still remember when I shot a wolf spider with my BB gun that I found in my garage. It took 5 point blank shots to finaly take care of it "sorry spider lovers" I just cant stand them, Its 530pm now and we just got in, Drove hundreds of miles and herped 3 awsome locations. One main point of the trip was my wife wants a Garter Snake but we were not lucky enough to find any snakes other than a DOA HUGE Pacific Gopher seen on the highway on the way home tonight. The best part of the trip was my son caught his first lizard WOOHOO He always says theres one dad but there never realy is and today at the 2nd location he said there is one and I said yeh sure and didnt even look. A few minutes later he said look dad and opened his hand to reviel a large I believe female western skink. I was so pround, He found it him self and caught it himself cool cool cool. at the final location I found a hatchling Alligator lizard. We collected both lizards. We observed hundreds of Sceloporus occidentalis "my favorite lizard" but did not collect or even go after any of them. What an awsome day. I have 3 more days off so I think we will head out to the coast in a day or 2 to see what we can find there. Sorry but I forgot my camera. I will post some pictures of the 2 lizards we caught "especialy the one he caught" in a little while
