I had dough’s about your new dragon being an armata, because they are much harder to get and usually more expensive. But seems like I was wrong to dough you, my apologies.
I have 5 captive hatched armatas and 6 wild collected young adults, the ch are so much calmer and easy going that its like an other specie.
When available cb armadas should make excellent captives witch many color variants, I saw a purplish-blue morph that’s unreal, will post photos when I get some.
Armatas seem to bask a lot more then my other acantausora sp. They are worry of there environment from being predated upon by bats (as most acantausoras). For this reason my cages have closed tops that make them feel safe. And hollow logs in witch to hide for safety.
