My son and I held our beautiful new Armata, Princess, and as I rubbed her cheek, my boy offered her really plump wax worms and she grabbed them up like they were gold. She ate three of them vigerously (that was all we offered, as she is small, and don't want to start with big meals - she has only been with us for three days).

I then put her back on her branch which I took her from, and gave her a warm shower of fresh spring water. She closed her little lizard eyes as if she were feelin' fine!

The amazing thing is... the minute I rubbed her cheek, she tilted her head back and opened her mouth and obediently waited for her worm. Whomever was raising her from birth obviously took care of her. If anyone is interested in knowing the breeder, let me know. I know she is captive bred.

I also offered them to Olympia, my expecting dragon, and she also ate three. Should I be offering her food or should I just leave her alone? I haven't seen her eat in a few days, and I am worried. I can feel her eggs on her sides. She is spending more time at the bottom of the tank. I would feel better knowing she had a high protein meal like wax worms... Friends, please advise. She is my baby, and I want to do what is best for her.

I am reposting the Princess shots, as I think she is quite a find!
