I am trying to help peoples here but my post are perceived as outer nonsense. These forums are for pet keepers not researchers and breeders.
For me its clear that a gravid female in the process of shelling eggs need minerals not proteins or fat, this will only make the follicle bigger witch in turn will cause egg retention and other development problems. Many many many keepers don’t know this and again will read it as nonsense.
In my care if lizard don’t feed on its own they die, I don’t even try to entice them to open there mouth and insert insect, I totally leave it up to them same with water. I don’t understand your post, is your lizard feeding on its own or are you feeding it?
