Glad for the outcome. Still hunting one of mine.
But just an idea, when I sell a tank setup I take aquarium tubing and tie it in a nut and wrap the ends of the tanks. Place the knot under it and at the ends and you hardly see it.
I also played with the idea od taking a 3" drywall screw. Snap the head off.
Cut the tubing about 3" to short from wrapping the tank. And just shove the tubing on the screw half each way. It goes on easy because your forcing the tubing fatter. Pull on it it will tighten down on the screw. Sorry no pics, but if you need one let me know. Cheap and it works great. ----- ontogeny recapitulate phylogeny
