Keep in mind many feel it is more difficult for the female to pass a slug than an egg, as it must be hard to deliver a squishy soft egg as opposed to a firm mass. I had a King lay a small clutch of slugs, only 5 and she took at least 48 hours to push them out and crawled in and out of her nest box many times in between. Slugs often are either the first or last things to be delivered when a snake is laying. I have not heard many cases of them being in between good eggs. I would not be concerned about it, and congrats on the good eggs, Tom Stevens | ||
