She said that IBD *as such* isn't a colubrid thing. They are, however, fairly susceptible to a paramyxovirus that presents pretty much the same way. Neurological exams (besides the righting reflex) are tough on snakes, so it makes it pretty hard to distinguish without the more invasive tests, like a liver biopsy for IBD.
