i usually notice the belly getting fatter about 2 weeks prior and the eggs being noticable within about a week of her laying. some may be able to tell earlier, but a week ahead for me. my female will eat ALOT of food for a few days, then stop eating a day or 2 before laying. she will constantly dig in her cage *that is when i had her in sand* id then move her to her laying bin.
