Sporatic breeding question...

Ive got a female ovulating right now. My sporatic male is going crazy trying to lock up with her. Can i add her bedding in other females cages to get him stirred up with them also??? He's just not going full throttle like my others and i thought this would give him a boost. Have any of you tried this before??? Thanx....Jason Matheson
