Sorry to hear about that. In my opinion they were too early to live, I have had litters born completly under newspaper, and all did great. The rat MAY have been a factor, that could also explain the lack of a waxy stool. 109 days should have been enough time, but if she stayed slightly cooler sometimes they need a little more time.
