This is a little off the subject, but I've read that you shouldn't use king mealworms as feeders because they're just regular mealworms that have been fed a chemical inhibitor that keeps them from progressing to adult beetles so they just keep growing bigger and bigger as larvae, and the effect the inhibitor has on animals that eat it isn't known. Superworms are ok, though. They're a different beetle that naturally grows that big as larvae.
