seperate them. if you plan to breed boas, it's never a good idea to house them together. Seperating them may help to stimulate them into breeding come next season.



Something I do as an attempt to cool them. My heat source is a heat lamp. usually I use 150 watt bulb which keeps the basking spot about 92, and the cool end around 80. When it comes breeding time, I switch out the bulb to a lower wattage, such as 75 watts. It actually works pretty well and drops the hot spot to the low 80's, and the cooler end to low 70s. I guess trial and error paid off for me, but it works pretty well. You may want to look into it.



Or an even easier way, put a thermostat on your heat source. Helix is one of the best. You can digitally control the temperature in your cage, down to tenths of a degree.



As for this year, they may have done the duty, but if you haven't noticed it, dont count on it. My suggestion to you, seperate the snakes, pick up feeding, and next season, sometime from september-february, at your convenience, put them together and try again.
